In just three more weeks Teresa and I head to Italy, and we can't wait. We'll be flying into Rome and taking the train to Florence where we'll stay for two weeks. We'll visit Siena and Fiesole on day trips. Then it's off to Venice for nearly a week before heading back to Rome and home. After much research (and more correspondence) we have appointments with the management of several charming hotels in each city to do site inspections so we can determine the best ones for our tour groups. We've found beautiful hotels in great locations and are looking forward to checking them out thoroughly.
Of course, we'll also be sampling restaurants and trattorias to find the most delicious and authentic places to take you. In addition, we will be visiting every museum, church, historic sight, market, and shop that we'll see on our tour or that you might wish to visit in your free time. In short, we'll be nailing down every little (and not so little)detail so you will be able to relax and enjoy every minute of your trip and have the time of your life with us.
NOTE: If you are reading this in a FeedBlitz e-mail, you might want to click on the link and go to the actual site to see the new Italian Word of the Day and Cultural Tidbit. FeedBlitz only sends the main post.
ALSO, I've been told that some people are a little confused by the signup process for subscribing with FeedBlitz. It's free, private (they won't sell or otherwise use your information), and you have to 1) fill in your e-mail address up in the corner here, 2) respond to the e-mail they send you, and 3) fill in your e-mail address AGAIN at FeedBlitz. Please send me a comment and let me know if you have any difficulties.
